Marco Santilli, a Ticinese composer well known in the musical scene of the German-speaking part of Switzerland, has built a bridge towards South with his compositions and his new quartett «Che Roba». The four musicians have created a universe of reminiscents of Hermann Hesse, of melodies inspired by dialect poems, skillfully interwoven ballads, Jazz traditions and improvisations.
With Marco Santilli (clarinet, bass clarinet, compositions), Lorenzo Frizzera (twelve-string acustic guitar), Ivan Tibolla (piano, accordion) and Fulvio Maras (percussion).

In the occasion of the current temporary exhibition, Volker Michels will talk about the relationship Hesse had with butterflies, as seen through his poems and prose. Volker Michels is a well known Hermann Hesse specialist, and has been for a long time the supervisor of Hesse's works for the publishing house Suhrkamp.
Actor Ernst Süss will read some of Hesse's texts about butterflies.
