The Museum Hermann Hesse offers schools guided tours and the possibility to arrange readings, lectures and guided walking-tours.
School classes may plan a visit combining different options available, with different time and rates.

Guided tour
The rate of the Museum guides refers to groups up to 24 people. With more than 24 people, it is advisable to divide the group and to book two guides.

Guided tour with watercolour painting workshop in the Museum courtyard
After a short tour of the Museum, children will have the possibility to create their own watercolour painting taking inspiration from a watercolour by Hermann Hesse.
Material included.
Maximum 18 children per group. For more than 18 people we advice to book two guides.

An interactive walk
«Walking with Hermann Hesse»
For primary schools (third, fourth and fifth grade) as well as for first year of middle school, (8 – 11 years) the Museum has a special and interesting activity: an interactive walking-tour with the actress Stefania Mariani - an unforgettable experience!
Stefania Mariani will tell about Hermann Hesse's life and work in an amusing and educational way on the background of the Collina d'Oro.
Every morning from 9.00 to 11.00, during the months of March, April, june, September and October, booking needs to be arranged.

Booking is required! Thanks to the support of the Comune di Collina d'Oro, ten of these events are free of charge. Teachers should contact the Museum (telephone or e-mail).
